Frank Weglarz is a candidate for a 3rd term on the SERS Board which will run from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2029.

Frank Weglarz retired from the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City Schools after 23 years of service. He served in numerous elected executive positions in two OAPSE locals and as Vice President of OAPSE Northeast District. He is currently President of AFSCME 1184/SC 120 and a member of SERO.

He advocates for seniors as Vice Chair of the Advisory Board of the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging, delivers Meals on Wheels, and is an advocate for Lake County Council on Aging. He also is a Volunteer Adult Guardian for two people with the Lake County Probate Court.
